Home Town Restaurant is where Anchorage comes in from the cold. In our kitchen on Minnesota Drive, kalbi and bulgogi hit the grill the way they do in Seoul - marinated slow, seared hot, and sent out with a full spread of house-made banchan. my favorite korean restaurant! they cooked the Fresh Beef Brisket Point 차돌구이 for us when i ordered for pickup, so sweet! it also came with rice, side dishes, lettuce wraps, and dipping sauce :)
Second time ordering takeout from them! The portion is large and taste amazing! Plus it's sealed completely so no chance of any spills. The Spicy Rice Cake 떡볶이 are perfectly cooked!
It's my first time ordering from KK Hometown Restaurant. It was a bit cold and windy tonight, so I craved for Kimchi & Tofu Stew with Pork 김치찌개 , Steamed or Fried Dumpling 군/찐만두, and Kimchi Pancake 김치전. The Kimchi & Tofu Stew with Pork 김치찌개 was warm and hearty with rice. The dumplings, which I ordered fried, was crispy and fresh. The kimchi pancake was also freshly made. The banchan had a nice variety. Will order again in the future.
